This Doetsch Tech 3" spindle lift is designed to fit all 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 model year Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 2wd pickup trucks built with the coil spring front suspension. That's right, Doetsch Tech can machine the spindle to also fit the 2009-2012 Colorado and Canyon trucks with the revised ABS sensor mounting location. This 3" spindle lift will only fit models equipped with a coil spring front suspension. This spindle lift is not for use on any 4x4 or Z-71 Torsion bar equipped Colorado or Canyon models!

Doetsch Tech 2004 - 2012 Chevrolet Colorado & GMC Canyon 3" Spindle Lift # 580130. These 3" lift spindles will fit 2wd trucks built on the coil spring front suspension. Doetsch Tech retains the factory front shock and coil spring with this lift and that means it rides and handles great, The front suspension ride quality will be about as close to stock as you can get. This kit rides NICE and it looks GREAT!
These spindles will NOT fit the torsion bar equipped trucks without extensive modifications. The ZQ8 Colorado and Canyon models sit lower than a standard Z85 model. If you have the ZQ8 Sport Suspension Package you may want to consider the optional CST 1" Billet Aluminum coil spring spacer to help get your truck sitting as tall as a Z85 model. If you have the Z85 model and want another 1" of lift the same CST 1" Billet Spacer can be installed to achieve a total of 4" of lift... 3" from the spindle and 1" from the spacer. Replacement front shocks are not required to install these 3" lift spindles on any series Colorado or Canyon.
Important: *** Please Read ***
The factory brake hoses are too short for use with this lift spindle. Extended brake hoses are NOT included with the spindles. To complete the installation you will also need extended front brake hoses. Again - These are NOT included with the Doetsch Tech Spindles!
Rear lift is not included with this item. In order to achieve a level stance you will need to purchase a rear lift. The Colorado can be lifted using an extended length shackle or an add-a-leaf. Blocks cannot be used as the leaf spring is located beneath the axle tube. If you want your Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon to have a level stance Performance Lifts offers Doetsch Tech Rear Lift Shackles or the Fabtech Rear Add-A-Leaf.

Tire & Wheel Information:
Doetsch Tech recommends a 17" or larger diameter wheel with a maximum back space of 5.00" inches. Use of smaller diameter wheels is possible but you will have to greatly reduce the maximum back space amount which will create a VERY wide stance. The Colorado in the picture is equipped a 5" lift consisting of the Doetsch Tech 3" Lift Spindle and a 2" Coil Spring Spacer. The tires are 285/70R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain.
