This Pro Comp 1" tall solid Aluminum Lift Block is preferred over a similar height cast iron block for one major reason... the solid Aluminum block won't crack like the thinner cast iron blocks. Short lift height cast iron blocks are notorious for cracking at the centering pin, especially if the spring perch on the vehicle is not perfectly flat (or if it flexes during use).
