Explorer Procomp Front Driveshaft # 51257. If you have lifted your Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 1500 series truck with a drop subframe style 6" lift you may be encountering a nasty front driveline vibration when operating the transfer case in AUTO or 4x4 modes. This Dual Cardan style high angle front driveshaft is designed to operate at steeper angles without binding than the factory front shaft is able to. Installation is simple and requires 5-10 minutes for most owners. Please make sure this part number is correct for your application before ordering.
Fitment Information:
This driveshaft measures 36.8" long and is designed for use on most 2010 - 2016 GM K1500 trucks and SUV's equipped with the AutoTrac transfer case. Please note that starting with the 2010 model year, Pro Comp recommends the use of # 51257. The 51257 is a shorter shaft with a length of 36.8" inches.
