The 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shocks contain the latest in shock technology to transform the performance of your Jeep Cherokee or Wrangler. The precision metal impact aluminum body increases cooling capacity and will never rust. Inside you will find FOX Racing Shox race-proven performance valving technology. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. The IFP eliminates oil aeration and provides maximum performance from the factory-tuned precision valving. The race developed high flow damping piston matched with vehicle specific vavling provides the 2.0 Performance Series IFP shock a predicable ride quality capable of handling the roughest road conditions. Fox Racing Shox # 980-24-645 is designed for use on the rear of most 1984+ Jeep Cherokee XJ and 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ vehicles that are equipped with a suspension lift. Please note that this shock is designed for use on a lifted vehicle. If you have a stock rear suspension this shock may be too long. If you are looking for a high performance replacement shock this Fox IFP Series Shock Absorber is a great choice. Just make sure the 24.750" Extended and 15.650" compressed lengths are correct for your suspension lifted Jeep.
