PRG 2005+ Nissan Frontier & XTerra Transmission Mount - 4x4 Only!

The PRG Products 2005 - 2021 Nissan Frontier & 2005 - 2015 Nissan Xterra Transmission Mount design uses a Urethane bushing captured inside a metal tube. It is impossible for the urethane in the PRG mount to tear away from the tube like the factory rubber insert does. The Urethane bushings used in the PRG Products design are replaceable should it ever wear out. The chances are the rest of the truck will wear out long before the PRG urethane insert does. PRG is so confident in their design that they are offering a limited Lifetime Warranty on this product!

All required installation hardware is included. Installation of this mount requires removal of the factory Nissan mount. The easiest way to remove the factory mount is to cut the studs and then slip the mount out from between the bottom of the transmission and the crossmember support. Removal of the crossmember is in most cases more difficult than cutting the studs. Welding is not required. The Urethane insert used in this PRG Products Trans Mount has a slightly higher durometer than the factory mount. This increase in Urethane bushing material firmness is part of what makes the PRG Transmission Mount so much stronger than the original Nissan design. After installing the PRG Transmission Mount you may notice a small increase in the amount of energy (in the form of vibration) being transferred from the engine and driveline to the chassis. The increase in vibration is minimal and in most cases is not noticed. If you are looking for a solution to cracked or broken factory mounts this is it!
