The Rancho RS55371 is part of the RS5000X series shock absorber... the worlds best-selling light truck shock absorber. This particular Rancho RS55371 is part of the Maximum Travel line and is designed for use on the front of torsion bar lifted 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 Classic Chevrolet K1500 Silverado and Sierra trucks built on the 1/2 ton torsion bar equipped chassis. Rancho gave this shock a fitting name, Maximum Travel. Rancho has designed this shock to work with 1" to 2.5" lift height torsion bar lifts.
