CST 2002-2008 Ram 1500 2" Lift Spacer - 2wd Only!

New front shock absorbers are optional when installing these 2" Lift Coil Spring Spacers. The factory stock 2wd Ram 1500 Front Shock Absorber acts as a limiter for the front suspension. Installation of an extended length Front Shock Absorber that is too long can allow the front suspension to over-extend which can cause a clunking noise when the upper arm hits the side of the frame. Eventually this can cause damage to the upper control arm and ball-joint. That means use of the correct length Front Shock Absorber is very important. PerformanceLifts.com has four different shock absorbers that we offer for use with this 2" Lift. The number one reason customers decide to replace their factory shock is for performance or handling reasons. An aftermarket shock absorber will in most cases perform better both on and off-road as the factory Dodge shock absorbers leave a lot of room for improvement.
