This Fabtech Motorsports FTS311 drop pitman arm is designed for use with 1999-2004 F250 and F350 Ford Super Duty 2wd (rear wheel drive) trucks equipped with a Fabtech 4" or 6" Suspension Lift System. It will also fit most 2000-2005 Ford Excursion vehicles. The FTS311 Pitman Arm has a 4 Degree Center Spline Offset. Please note that Fabtech offers a number of different Drop Pitman Arm part numbers for use on different Ford Trucks and SUV's. This Fabtech Motorsports Drop Pitman Arm # FTS311 is designed for use on 1999-2004 2WD Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty trucks equipped with a 36 spline factory pitman arm only. If your truck is equipped with a Fabtech 4" or 6" Suspension Lift this Dropped Pitman Arm may be necessary to help correct the steering geometry. Fabtech manufactures their pitman arms to be stronger then stock units, using the latest forging and CNC machining technology.
Please use the diagram shown in the product picture to confirm that the master spline orientation on your factory pitman arm matches the one on the Fabtech FTS311 Drop Pitman Arm. This item is sold without hardware. The factory lock washer and retaining nut hardware will be reused. If your existing hardware is damaged or corroded it cannot be reused. The retaining nut for this Pitman Arm requires a torque specification of 200 ft/lbs. Failure to properly achieve the recommended torque specification can result in a loss of vehicle control and can lead to injury or death.
