Trucks with 2-Piece Rear Driveshaft - IMPORTANT!

Some GM trucks equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft will need to install the RCD Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket to reduce / prevent a rear driveshaft vibration or shudder during acceleration. Please note however that you need to inspect your truck BEFORE you purchase the Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket. You must verify that your driveshaft mounts to the BOTTOM of the crossmember. If your driveshaft mounts ABOVE the crossmember you will NOT be able to install the RCD Carrier Bearing Drop Bracket.

Please note, this RCD lift is designed for use with the K2500 and K3500 8-lug vehicles only - this kit will not fit K1500 or K2500 6-lug vehicles! This lift will fit Gasoline and Diesel engine equipped trucks.

Tire and Wheel Information:

This RCD 6" lift kit will clear up to a 35" or metric equivalent size tire when mounted on the correct size wheel. RCD recommends the wheel be no wider than 9.00" inches. Wheel back space must not exceed 4.50" when running 15" diameter wheels. If running 17" or larger wheels back space can usually be increased to 4.625" inches.
