AirLift 2009-2018 Ram 1500 Rear Air Spring System # 60818

AirLift 1000 # 60818 - Fits 2009 - 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 series 2wd and 4x4 trucks equipped with the coil spring rear suspension only. This AirLift 60818 kit allows you to increase the air spring pressure when carrying or towing a heavy load which in turn helps to ensure that the vehicle weight is properly distributed to all four tires. Without an AirLift system the back of the vehicle can "squat" under the load which shifts weight and steering control from the front tires. When your Ram 1500 is running around empty or without a trailer in tow you can reduce the pressure in the Air Springs to retain a factory ride. A level, stable vehicle means better braking, steering and headlight aim. It also reduces sway, porposing and bottoming out. The AirLift air springs are fully adjustable from 5 to 35 PSI and can be adjusted to provide the correct amount of additional support as necessary. Inflation and deflation can be performed using the included Schrader valve system and an external air source. For optimal convenience PerformanceLifts.com highly recommends the addition of an Air Lift On-Board Air Compressor system (available separately below).

Each Air Lift 1000 kit includes all necessary components required to complete the installation. Installation is easy and does NOT require removal or disassembly of the factory rear suspension. The air bag itself is inserted into the coil spring in a deflated state between the coil windings. Installation is very simply and only requires very basic tools. AirLift also includes a Lifetime Warranty that covers the air springs, fittings and all mounting hardware. Which is a major advantage over some other companies that only cover the air springs. This system is relatively easy to install and in most cases customers are able to complete the installation in around 1 hour. AirLift includes a set of printed installation instructions with every kit. AirLift also offers installation videos for most of their kits via the AirLift website.

Optional Air Compressor Systems:
This AirLift 60818 kit includes a pair of Schrader valves and air line that allows you to increase or decrease the air spring pressure manually. This requires running the air supply lines to an accessible location. For the majority of our F-Series customers the addition of an Air Lift On-Board Air Compressor System is a very welcome addition. For convenient air spring control at the touch of a button you can add an Air Lift On-Board Air Compressor System. These systems are great for changes in load, weather or road conditions. Air Lift offers wireless models as well as models that mount in the cab. Air Lift compressor systems are the most advanced in the industry and work with all brands of air springs but are designed for use primarily with the AirLift systems.
