This CST Upper Control Arm Kit is designed to fit 2009-2018 Ram 1500 2wd and 4x4 trucks. It will fit lifted and stock height models and works with all cab and bed lengths as well as all engine options. The factory Ram 1500 upper control arm is made of aluminum and uses a pressed in ball-joint. The factory uses pressed in ball-joints because they are cheap and easy to install on the assembly line. Unfortunately that means when the ball-joint wears out you usually have to replace the entire control arm. If you are running larger than stock tires on your Ram 1500 and have grown tired of wearing out the factory parts this upgrade is designed for you!

This CST Performance Suspension # CSS-D2-4 Pro-Series UniBall Upper Control Arm Kit is designed for use on all 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year 2wd Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. CST Pro-Series Upper Control Arms feature a sealed upper cup design that limits the amount of contaminants that can get between the ball and race. Most companies leave the UniBall exposed to the elements and this can cause accelerated wear. The CST sealed design reduces wear and tear and this increases the longevity of the parts. CST Pro-Series Control Arms feature PTFE lined 1.00" UniBalls that are MUCH stronger than the stock ball-joints they replace. The UniBall has been proven in all forms of motorsports and will hold up better under extreme off-road use than factory parts do. These CST Control Arms also feature a 7/8" rod end at the frame side pivot that allows you to adjust both the camber and caster. If you have installed a suspension lift on your Ram 1500 and have had difficulty achieving a proper alignment these control arms will solve those alignment problems.

Important Product Information:
The CSS-D2-4 Pro-Series Upper Control Arm kit will not provide lift by itself. CST Pro-Series Control Arms are designed to provide an increase in strength and to allow for a wider range of adjustment when setting the camber and caster. Ram engineers have designed the front suspension on the Ram 1500 2wd so that the front shock absorber limits how far the front suspension can extend (rebound travel). For this reason use of the correct length front shock absorbers is very important. CST recommends that customers running longer extended length front shocks cycle the front suspension to ensure the CST Pro-Series Upper Control Arms will not make contact with the coil pocket on the frame. Use of a front shock absorber that is too long in the extended length may also allow the factory tie rods to operate beyond their intended range of motion resulting in increased wear.
