CST 2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 6" Lift - 2wd Only

This CST 6" Suspension Lift System is designed for use on 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year Dodge Ram 1500 2wd trucks only. The CST 6" Suspension Lift will fit all Standard Cab, Quad Cab and Crew Cab 2wd trucks, short bed or long bed. It fits all engine options including the V6 Gasoline, all V8 Gasoline and the V6 EcoDiesel models. The CST 6" Suspension Lift for the 2009-2017 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks will only fit 2wd models! This lift will not fit ANY 4x4 models!

CST now offers two different 4" Lift Spindles for the 2009 - 2018 Ram 1500 2wd trucks. The only difference is the material type used to produce them. The CSS-D1-1 Spindles are Fabricated in the USA by CST using 1018 Sheet Steel and are the strongest Race Style spindle CST offers. New from CST are the CSS-D1-5 Spindles that are Cast Iron and slightly less expensive (but heavier) than the Fabricated Steel Version. Both of the CST Ram 1500 2wd 4" Lift Spindles provide the same amount of lift and both are built in the USA and are stronger than the OEM parts they replace. This CST 6" Lift also provides a major ground clearance increase that will gives your 2wd Dodge Ram 1500 more ground clearance than a same height lifted Dodge Ram 1500 4x4! Please note, at this time we offer two different rear lift height options, the CST 3" and CST 4" Lift Rear Box Kit. The CST 3" Lift rear kit is designed for customers that want a little reverse rake, meaning the front will be about 1/2" lower than the front. The CST 4" rear lift will provide a slightly higher rear stance on Quad Cab and Crew cab trucks. For standard cab models the 6" front and 4" rear lift will provide a level stance. For Quad Cab and Crew Cab owners that want a level stance we recommend the optional 6.5" front lift height and the 4" rear lift height. The Silver 4-Door Ram 1500 shown in the product image is equipped with the CST 6" Front Lift and CST 4" Rear Lift.

Shock Absorbers:
The factory front shocks can be reinstalled with this suspension lift. If you wish to replace the factory front shock we do offer options. The factory rear shock absorbers must be replaced when installing this lift and PerformanceLifts.com again offers a number of options. The correct length CST, Rancho, Bilstein and ProComp rear shock absorbers can be selected and purchased using the drop down selection boxes located near the ADD TO CART button on this page.

Tire & Wheel Info:
PerformanceLifts.com has numerous 2009 - 2018 Ram 1500 2wd customers safely running factory Dodge 20" diameter wheels with 305 series tires without wheel spacers. Tires wider than 12.00" inches (305 series) mounted on factory Dodge 20" diameter wheels will not clear the CST lift spindle without the addition of a wheel spacer. This CST 6" and 6.5" Suspension Lift System is not compatible with factory 17" or 18" diameter wheels. Running 17" or 18" diameter wheels will require aftermarket wheel that have less back space than the factory wheels. This is required to prevent the tire sidewall from making contact with the CST 4" lift spindle. For this reason CST recommends using an 17" or larger diameter wheel that is 8" or 9" inches wide. When running a 17" or 18" wheel diameter the wheel back space must not exceed 5.25" inches!

Additional Information:
This lift has been installed, tested, and successfully held an alignment with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market. Customers are also pleasantly surprised when they learn the truck rides as nice as it looks! This CST 6" lift kit does NOT replace the coil springs and for this reason retains a very smooth and comfortable highway and freeway ride. This CST 6" Suspension Lift System will not fit US SPEC Dodge 2500 or 3500 series Ram trucks! Please note, this kit has been verified to fit 2009 - 2018 Ram 1500 2wd trucks with the new body style and multi-link coil spring rear suspension design.
