CST 2002-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 4" Lift Spindle CSS-D1-1

This CST Performance Suspension # CSS-D1-1 4" Lift Spindle is designed for use on all 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year 2wd Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. Please note, this is the pair of CST CSS-D1-1 4" Lift Spindles by themselves. The CST 4" Lift spindles are MUCH stronger than the stock steering uprights and also increase ground clearance under the front cross member by a full four inches. These CST Lift Spindles provide clearance for larger than stock tires and give your 2wd Ram more ground clearance than most lifted Ram 1500 4x4's! If 4" inches of lift is not enough you can easily add a 1", 2" or 3" lift Daystar urethane coil spring spacer to achieve 5", 6" or 7" inches of total front suspension lift. All of these kit lift heights have been installed, tested, and have successfully held an alignment with no installation or alignment issues typically found in some other lesser quality kits now on the market.

Ordering Information:

The CSS-D1-1 part number by itself includes one pair of CST 4" Lift Spindles and the necessary installation hardware. If your Dodge Ram 1500 2wd is a 2006 or newer model year you should also purchase extended front brake hoses. Extended Front Brake Hoses are NOT included with the CSS-D1-1 part number. Rear lift is NOT included. Shock absorbers are NOT included. This is the bare bones CST 4" Lift Spindles by themselves. THESE CST 4" LIFT SPINDLES ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE FACTORY 17" RAM 1500 WHEELS! AFTERMARKET 17" AND LARGER WHEELS CAN BE USED BUT THE BACK SPACE MUST NOT EXCEED 5.25" INCHES. CST RECOMMENDS THE USE OF AN 8" TO 9" WIDE WHEEL WITH BACK SPACE NOT TO EXCEED 5.25 INCHES WHEN RUNNING LARGER THAN STOCK TIRES! CUSTOMERS WITH FACTORY 20" RAM WHEELS CAN RUN UP TO A 12.00" WIDE (305 SERIES) TIRE BEFORE A WHEEL SPACER WILL BE REQUIRED. CUSTOMERS WANTING TO RUN THEIR FACTORY 17" RAM WHEELS WILL NEED A WHEEL SPACER TO PREVENT TIRE SIDEWALL TO CST LIFT SPINDLE CLEARANCE ISSUES.

Dodge engineers have designed the front suspension on this vehicle so that the front shock absorber is the only thing that limits the suspension travel before other components like the upper control arm ball-joint and outer tie rod ends bind. For this reason using the correct length front replacement shocks is very important. Using a front shock absorber that is too long in the extended length can allow the front suspension to over-extend and this may allow the upper control arm to make contact with the top of the frame rail. CST recommends that a stock length replacement shock be used with the CST 4" Lift Spindles. The CSS-D1-1 Lift Spindles will NOT fit any Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab, Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 series trucks! Will NOT fit 4x4 models! It is recommended that all 2006 and newer model year Ram 1500 2wd trucks also purchase the Extended Front Brake Hose Kit. Please note that CST does not include any rear lift with their CSS-D1-1 4" Lift Spindles. If you are looking for a complete suspension lift package we do offer them elsewhere on our website.
