This AMP Research Powerstep # # 76235-01A is designed to fit 2017+ Ford F250 and F350 SuperDuty trucks. It works on both SuperCab and SuperCrew pickup The AMP Powerstep makes access into your Ford Truck much easier, especially for shorter users. If you've got a lifted truck these steps are an awesome upgrade as they make getting into and out of the vehicle much easier. This step fits both 2wd and 4wd models! Open the door and the Powerstep lowers to meet your feet. Close the door and it automatically retracts into its own concealed pocket, flush behind the rocker panels.

Unlike traditional stationary running boards, Powerstep drops down from the rocker panel to the correct step height when the door is opened, and tucks back under the rocker when closed, retaining the original styling lines of the vehicle. Unlike other running boards, Powerstep has superior load-bearing capacity. It utilizes a weatherproof motor and anti-pinch technology, and is tested to rigorous O.E.M. specifications. The step portion of the Powerstep is a painted aluminum extrusion and is capable of handling up to 600 lbs. capacity per side. The step itself is wide and flat allowing for good foot placement, and in the lowered position, it extends outward 10-12 allowing occupants to take more of a natural step in or out of the vehicle. A no-slip textured surface allows for usage in all weather conditions. Powerstep has been tested in a variety of environments and temperatures from -40F to +200F. Each Powerstep includes a 3 Year, 36,000 mile warranty. Includes wiring, mounting hardware, and instructions!

Important Installation Information:
AMP Research uses the the same 85" length boards for both the Super Cab and Crew Cab models. When installing this item on Super Cab trucks you will need to trim the boards down to 72" inches. Crew Cab models will NOT need to perform any trimming. Drilling is required when installing this product. The following tools will be required to perform the installation: 10 mm socket / 13 mm socket / 13 mm end wrench / Ratchet wrench and extension / Wire stripper / 9/32” & 19/64” Drill Bit /  3/16” hex key wrench ( allen wrench) / 4mm hex key wrench ( allen wrench) / Electrical tape / Weather proof caulking (silicone sealer). This is the updated OBD-II activated Powerstep with Plug-and-Play technology that greatly simplifies the installation by reducing the amount of wiring that needs to be run. The AMP Plug-and-Play harness is vehicle specific and allows you to complete the installtion of the AMP Powerstep without taking the dash or door panels apart.
