The Bilstein 5100 Series 2003-2013 Ram 2500 / 3500 # 33-187228 shock absorber is designed for use on the REAR suspension of a 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012 model year Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab, Ram 2500 or Ram 3500 series truck that is equipped with a 3" to 5" rear lift. This shock absorber is not designed for any Ram series truck that is equipped with less than 3" inches of lift... the shock will be way too long in the compressed length and will damage the shock and your shock mounts. This shock is designed as a 100% bolt on product. You will reuse your factory upper and lower shock bolts during installation.
