Bilstein 5160 Series Remote Reservoir Shock Absorber # 25-242379. The included Bilstein hardware pack # B4-KB1-Z096A03 allows this part number to fit the LEFT and RIGHT side of the truck. More on that later in the product description. This shock is designed to fit 2005 - 2022 model year Tacoma 6-lug trucks. This shock will NOT fit any 5-lug models! Bilstein B8 5160 series remote reservoir shock absorbers are designed as a direct fit solution for Tacoma PreRunner and Tacoma 4x4 trucks running at stock height or up to 1.50" of lift over stock height. The remote reservoir will offer increased cooling capacity and wheel travel to optimize overall performance compared to a traditional shock absorber. These shock absorbers feature a monotube design for consistent fade free performance and utilize velocity sensitive digressive valve settings which are tuned for each specific application. Each shock absorber is fitted with a unique 360 degree swivel banjo hose fitting, providing a clean, low profile installation. B8 5160 remote reservoir shock absorbers will increase overall durability of your vehicle allowing you to conquer the harshest of off-road environments.
Why is Performance Lifts selling two left side shocks and not a left and right? Well... Bilstein uses the EXACT SAME shock on both sides... the left side shock includes the Brake Line Spacer Kit that the right side shock doesn't. So you'll end up with an extra brake line spacer kit so that means you're getting more parts for the same price!
