Bilstein B8 6112 series Adjustable Ride Height Front Shock Absorber has an ingeniously simple coil seat system that allows you to adjust the front ride height of your 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, or 2008 model year Ford F150 4x4. This item is designed specifically for the 4wd models and is not for use on 2wd trucks! This item does NOT fit 2004 Heritage models! By moving a heavy duty snap ring up or down the machined shock body you can increase or decrease the spring pre-load, thereby providing more or less lift. With up to 2.50" inches of lift you can clear up to a 305/70/17 or 305/65/18 series tire on the factory Ford wheel. Other tire and wheel combinations may also work. Aftermarket wheels and larger than stock tire sizes may require trimming to clear, please verify correct fitment before purchase to eliminate any surprises.

Bilstein B8 6112 series Adjustable Lift Shock # 47-310780 replaces the now discontinued 47-244566 part number. Designed for use on 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Ford F150 4x4 trucks. Sorry 2wd owners, this kit is NOT designed for use on 2wd trucks. This shock provides improved on and off-road performance versus the smaller and less expensive 5100 series option. If you are looking for a suspension upgrade that can also provide up to 2.5" inches of front suspension lift you've found what we believe is the best value per dollar spent. The biggest benefit of using the Bilstein 6112 shock as a leveling kit is you can get rid of the crummy factory shock and replace it with a larger and more capable unit. These kits consist of (2) 60mm shock absorbers combined with (2) custom matched cold wound coil springs and (2) billet aluminum spring seats. Optional Rear Shocks:
PerformanceLifts.com also offers the Bilstein 5100 and 5160 Series Rear Shock Absorbers that will work on stock to +2" Rear Lifted trucks. The less expensive Bilstein 5100 shock # 33-186009 (old part # F4-BE5-C299-H1) is a regular 5100 series shock. As an upgrade we now offer the 5160 series which features an external reservoir. Both rear shock part numbers are sold separately and can be purchased using the selection box located above.
