Carli Suspension 2014+ Ram 2500 Rear Coil Spring Kit # CS-DMRC-14-R1. Also simply known as the R1 springs. These are the springs that are designed for the Ram 2500 owner that does not regularly haul heavy loads in the bed of the truck. The R1 spring will provide between .5" and 1" of rear lift and provide an excellent ride on and off-road when unloaded. Don't plan on throwing 1000 lbs of gear in the bed and then mobbing through the desert at high speed with these springs. These springs are best suited to an unloaded truck with custom-tuned Carli shocks. Ideal for customers desiring a level appearance (with their Carli 3.25″ System) and the BEST street ride with the capability to support up to 1,500lbs of bed-load.

Carli offers two VERY different rear coil springs. For most owners the R1 is the better choice. You need to understand how different the R1 and R2 springs are and then choose the one that is correct for your truck. This is NOT the time to be all Macho and choose the heavier rate spring because you assume you need it. Don't ASSUME. The R2 is designed for a Ram 2500 owner that regularly hauls 1000+ pounds of "stuff" in the bed of the truck. Or tows a HEAVY trailer on a regular basis. If you haven't spent at least 30 minutes reading up on the R1 vs R2 springs you aren't qualified to make the correct decision.
