This CST Upper Control Arm kit is designed for use with all 2014-2018 GM Trucks and SUV's built on the 1/2 ton 1500 series 2wd or 4x4 chassis equipped with the Aluminum or Stamped Steel Suspension. This CST Upper Control Arm is designed only to work with the factory GM Steering Knuckle or any aftermarket steering knuckle or lift spindle that uses the same factory size upper ball-joint taper. Basically, if you are running a lift or leveling kit and currently have a factory upper control arm on your vehicle now this CSS-C2-17 should be a direct bolt-on replacement. CST Performance Suspension Dirt Series UniBall Upper Control Arm Kit # CSS-C2-17 will fit 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks equipped with the Aluminum or Stamped Steel Suspension. It also fits 2015+ Tahoe, Suburban 1500, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500 vehicles. The primary goal of this control arm is to provide additional strength and suspension travel over the factory GM arm. This Dirt Series control arm features an all new and improved design over previous part numbers. This Generation II design features a sealed UniBall top cap which helps improve Uni-Ball life by reducing the amount of contaminants that can enter the Uni-Ball itself. Please note that the taper on this particular CSS-C2-17 control arm is matched to the factory steering knuckle taper found on factory Aluminum and factory Stamped Steel suspension equipped vehicles only. This means the CSS-C2-17 will bolt right up to a factory GM steering upright without any drilling or modifications. This item requires the use of wheels with 5.25" back space or less to prevent the tire from rubbing the arm tube when turning. If you have a CST suspension lift and for some reason are looking for a replacement arm with a larger than stock upper ball-joint taper this product will NOT fit as this arm includes ball-joints with the OEM size taper. Please note that this item fits the 2014 - 2018 factory Aluminum and Stamped Suspension equipped vehicles only.
