CST Colorado & Canyon 5" Lift Kit - 4wd & Z-71 Only!

This CST CSS-C3-11 Performance Suspension 5" lift kit is designed to fit the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 4wd pickup and Z-71 series 2wd trucks equipped with the torsion bar equipped front suspension. This lift will NOT fit any coil spring equipped models! The CST 5" Colorado and Canyon 4x4 Suspension Lift is designed to fit all cab and bed styles, including the ALPHA Edition with the V8 engine option.

The CST 5" lift kit consists of a CST welded steel drop subframe, torsion bar brackets, taller fabricated steel steering knuckles, a skid plate, 2.00" Lift Add-A-Leafs, and all necessary installation hardware. This combination will easily clear most 33x11.50" tires when mounted on an 8.00" inch wide wheel. CST retains the factory torsion bar suspension design and does not drop the rear torsion bar mounts down. This ensures that ground clearance beneath the center of the truck is not reduced. To further protect the front drivetrain, CST includes a front differential skid plate that bolts to the lower subframe.

Shock Absorber Options:
CST offers their CSR line of Mono-Tube Nitrogen pressurized shock absorbers for use with this lift. The CSR series is very similar in design and construction to a Bilstein 5100 series shock. PerformanceLifts.com also offers the Rancho RS5000 series shock absorber for use with the CST lift. Customers that install the CST Crossmember Kit # CSS-C22-11 can benefit from using a longer 26" extended rear shock. If you select to purchase the crossmember kit we will automatically upgrade you to the correct length shock. Rear Lift Options:
This CST 5" Lift Suspension System includes a pair of Add-A-Leafs that lifts the rear of the truck approximately 2" inches over stock height. From what we have found the addition of the optional CST 1" Lift Shackles is recommended. Please note that these 1" Lift Shackles are not included with the CST 5" Lift. The combination of the CST Add-A-Leaf and CST Shackle provide a rear lift height of approximately 3" inches over stock. If you adjust your torsion bars to achieve more front lift you may end up with an uneven stance. PerformanceLifts.com also offers the Skyjacker 2.5" lift replacement rear spring packs, part number CCR25S, for customers looking to replace the entire factory GM leaf springs with a pair of 2.5" lift leaf springs. When combined with the CST 1" Lift Shackle the total rear lift height increases to 3.5" inches but drive shaft to gas tank support clearance becomes an issue. Optional Rear Suspension Lift options can be selected using the selection boxes located above this item description.

The Black Colorado 4x4 displayed is equipped with the CST 5" kit and 33" Nitto Terra Grappler tires on 18" wheels. The CST 5" Lift can clear taller diameter tires, up to 34" in diameter, but the wheel width and back space will be more critical. This CST CSS-C3-11 Suspension Lift requires that wheels have no more than 4.50 inches of back space. Factory (stock GM) wheels will not work with larger tires unless you run a wheel spacer / adapter (not included).
