CST Skid Plate 2014 - 2018 GM 1500 # CSS-C29-23

This CST Aluminum Skid Plate # CSS-C29-23 is a replacement for the factory plastic front splash guard found on the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 series trucks. The GM plastic splash guard is prone to cracking and this aluminum skid plate is a stronger and better looking solution. The CST skid plate is designed for vehicles equipped with a CST 4.5" subframe style suspension lift. Please note that this item will most likely NOT fit other manufacturers suspension lifts. Installation is easy and reuses the factory hardware. Most customers are able to remove their factory skid plate and install this one in less than 10 minutes.

Stock Vehicle Installation Notes:

Installation on a vehicle WITHOUT a CST 4.5" Subframe Suspension lift system can also install this skid plate. Installation will require CUTTING the factory plastic skid plate. The CSS-C29-23 is not a "full length" skid plate and does NOT run all the way underneath the engine like the factory skid plate does. You will use the CST skid plate as a template for where to cut the stock plastic skid plate. The Aluminum skid plate you see installed beneath the engine is part of the CST 4.5" Subframe Lift System and is NOT, REPEAT NOT included as part of the CSS-C29-23 skid plate.
