Deaver Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra Rear Leaf Springs # U182

Deaver Spring U182 Leaf Spring Packs. Designed for use on 1999 - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks. Fits 2wd and 4x4 models. Will NOT fit vehicles equippe with MagnaRide! These U-182 packs feature a 13 leaf construction that uses thinner leaf material to provide the most progressive and comfortable performance from an off-the-shelf leaf pack possible. If you tow or haul heavy loads this spring pack is not for you... but if you have installed a Mid-Travel or Long Travel suspension system on the front of your truck these packs are an excellent option. The spring rate is lower than other Deaver packs (like the F87) and the amount of lift these packs provides will depend on the truck and how they are installed. On a truck with an empty bed (no spares, fuel cell, etc) the amount of lift these springs provide is usually between 3" and 4" inches. That lift height increase assumes the use of stock length shackles. If you are considering the U182 you probably already know this but to get the most performance from these packs will require better shackles, good shock absorbers and if possible relocated shock mounts.

Please note that PerformanceLifts.com only sells Deaver spring packs in pairs. One pair of Deaver Spring Company Leaf Springs includes two complete leaf packs. These Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Deaver Spring Company spring packs include bushings. Replacement U-bolts may be necessary when installing Deaver leaf springs. U-bolts are NOT included with Deaver springs! To get the best performance from these Deaver springs new shocks and relocated shock mounts are necessary to take full advantage of the increase suspension travel these springs can provide. Shocks and shock mounts are NOT included.

Deaver springs are built from the ground up to provide a superior ride. Deaver does NOT use an overload leaf in their U182 spring packs. This means if you tow or haul heavy loads these Deaver Springs are going to squat (a lot) under load. The U182 is also known as the U-182 as well as the L31 or L-31. Each of these four part numbers is the exact same product.

Leaf Springs are HEAVY!
These Silverado and Sierra spring packs are oversized and very heavy. Because of this UPS shipping charges can be very expensive. PerformanceLifts.com will do its best to provide you with an inexpensive shipping method but in most cases shipping leaf spring packs will run a minimum of $100+ per pair to the lower 48 USA and considerably more to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.
