If you own a vehicle that uses the stem style mount and have been having a hard time sourcing the correct length shock absorber this conversion kit opens up a whole new range of available shocks to you. Loop style shock ends are the most common and are more readily available.

This conversion allows the use of a loop style shock absorber. The sleeve and bolt hole in the Procomp 690001 adapter are designed for use with a 1/2" diameter bolt. This kit includes a 1/2" by 2-3/4" bolt. If necessary you can drill the bolt holes out on the adapter for use with a larger diameter shock mounting bolt. This however completely voids the Procomp warranty. This stem to loop adapter kit includes everything shown in the product image.
