Fabtech 1997-2003 Ford F150 3.5" Spindle Lift # FTS97159-7

These Fabtech 3.5" Lift Spindles can transform a boring daily driver into an eye catching on and off-road cruiser. Fabtech FTS97159-7 Spindles are great for daily drivers because they retain a stock like ride while providing a full 3.5 inches of lift and increased ground clearance. The one-piece cast spindle design replaces the factory steering knuckles for a quick and easy installation that requires no cutting and no welding. Fabtech Lift Spindles are engineered to accept factory ball joints and feature a press in axle snub design for superior strength and longevity. This Fabtech system for 2WD Ford F150 trucks includes one pair of 3.5" lift spindles. A complete front to rear lift will require additional components.

To complete this kit please select a block and u-bolt kit using the selection boxes above. Most 1997-2003 F150 owners are running the 3.5" lift spindle with the addition of a 1.5" rear block kit. This 3.5" Front / 1.5" Rear Lift combination will provide a level stance on most trucks. If you prefer having the rear higher than the front we strongly recommend using a taller rear lift block. For west coast customers that prefer the "Prerunner" or "Bull Dog" stance and want the front higher than the rear no block is required. Replacement shocks are not necessary but are recommended if you are increasing tire size and want to improve upon the factory ride quality. The stock Ford F150 shocks are not designed to properly control heavier off-road style tires and that's why a set of new shocks can really provide a ride quality improvement on and off-road. PerformanceLifts.com recommends the Fabtech and Rancho RS5000 series shocks for customers on a tight budget and the Bilstein 5100 or Rancho RS9000XL shocks for customers looking for a higher performance shock absorber.

PerformanceLifts.com recommends the use of a 285/75R16 tire with 16x8 wheels. If running a 17" diameter wheel the recommended tire size is 285/70R17. Wheels must not have more than 4-5/8" of back space. Installation of these Fabtech FTS97159-7 3.5" Lift Spindles may also require the addition of the Fabtech FTS290 alignment cam and bolt kit. The FTS290 alignment cam and bolt kit is available separately below and is recommended to ensure your installation and alignment goes smoothly the first time.
