Fabtech 2001-2009 Ford Ranger Edge & Sport 3" Lift Spindle # FTS98300-73

This FTS98300-73 3" lift spindle for the 2001-2005 2WD Edge and 2006 through 2009 Ranger Sport series includes a pair of Fabtech FTS98300-73 3" lift spindles to help maintain a smooth stock like ride and provide clearance for larger tires. A Fabtech FTS202 2" lift rear add-a-leaf is available for truck owners that want to level their truck and is available for purchase separately below. Add a pair of Fabtech FTS7330 front shocks and FTS7333 rear shocks and your Ranger will be ready for action both on and off the road. Aftermarket shock absorbers are not required but are suggested because the stock Ford shock absorbers are not valved or designed to work with a larger and heavier than stock tire and wheel combo.

Fabtech recommends a 32x11.50R15 tire mounted on a 15x7 wheel (a 15x8 wheel will work fine too) with no more than 3.75" inches of back space. For customers wanting to run a larger diameter wheel, 16" or 17" diameter wheels will work just fine too, just pay close attention to wheel width and back space! We have talked at length with Fabtech engineers and they claim to never have seen a single Ranger EDGE with a rotor other than the 11.25 diameter. Based on Fabtech's research this spindle will fit all 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 2wd Edge models. We know through years of selling this item that it also fits the 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Ranger Sport 2wd models equipped with the torsion bar front suspension. This lift spindle will NOT fit any coil spring equipped Ranger Sport models! Many PerformanceLifts.com customers are running a 33" or metric (285/75/16 or 285/70/17) series tire with just the 3" Fabtech Lift Spindles and a 1" height adjustment of the torsion bars with little to no rubbing. New shocks and rear lift are optional and are not required to install the Fabtech Lift Spindles. The FTS291 alignment cam and bolt kit is available but is generally NOT required. Most Ranger Edge and Sport owners are able to successfully align the vehicle WITHOUT the additional FTS291 cam and bolt kit.

2009+ Model Year Information
This spindle is not recommended for use on any Ranger factory equipped with AdvanceTrac / Roll Control systems. Installation of this lift spindle on any Ford Ranger equipped with AdvanceTrac / Roll Stability Control (RSC) is absolutely NOT recommended.
