Fords Ranger, like its larger F-150 sibling, is a rugged and stylish truck in need of an upgraded suspension system. For Ranger owners seeking to maximize their trucks suspension performance, Fabtech offers their 5.5" Ultimate suspension lift system. The Ultimate 5.5" suspension system for 2WD Rangers includes rugged upper control arms and new urethane bushings to keep the suspension geometry in check, vehicle specific coil springs which provide 2.5 inches of lift, and Fabtech 3-inch lift spindles. For customers looking for better on and off-road handling and performance, consider upgrading from the Fabtech series shock absorbers. Customers have found that running a better shock absorber provides a much nicer on and off-road ride.

This Fabtech Motorsports 5.5" Lift is designed for use on 2wd Coil Spring front suspension Ford Ranger trucks. This item will not fit torsion bar or 4x4 models. Fabtech created this lift for Ranger owners that require additional lift to clear larger than stock tires. With a 5.5" suspension lift you'll have more than enough height to get your 2wd Ford Ranger well above the rest and looking not just good... but great. This 5.5" lift is designed to be used with up to a 32" diameter tire. Some customers are running 33" tires with inner wheelwell and fender trimming. The Fabtech recommended tire size is 32 x 11.50 tire on a 7" to 8" wide wheel. Recommended back space is 3.75" inches. Please note that the use of 15, 16", 17" or larger diameter wheels is possible. Narrower wheels however fit better than wider ones and for that reason we recommend limiting the wheel width to 8" inches or under.
Please be sure to select the engine size to ensure you receive the correct coil spring for your application. The Fabtech Lift Spindles included in this kit are vehicle specific and will only fit 2001-2009 models with the 11.25" diameter brake rotors. This is CRITICAL to ensure that this lift will fit your Ranger.

Please Note: Fabtech has verified this kit will work on all model years through 2009. The issue with the 2010 and newer models is the addition of Ford AdvanceTrac and Roll Control. The sensors used in the 2010+ trucks can be thrown off by larger tires and a lifted stance. This kit will NOT fit any Ranger EDGE, Ranger Sport, or torsion bar equipped Ranger.
