Fabtech Outer Tie Rod End # FTS93010 is designed to replace a worn out component. This Tie Rod End is only for use on 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Trucks equipped with the Fabtech 6" suspension lift. The Fabtech 6" suspension lift utilizes a shorter tie rod end which means factory ends will NOT work with the Fabtech 6" lift systems.

The listed price includes one individual Outer Tie Rod End.

More information than you probably want to know...

The Fabtech # FTS93010 is the exact same outer tie rod end as the Fabtech # FT44016. So why does Fabtech have two different part numbers for the same part? The FT44016 is the part number that was included with a complete Fabtech 6" suspension lift system. It's not boxed. It was part of a larger box kit. The FTS93010 is boxed and is the "retail" part number when you need to buy just one Fabtech outer tie rod end without purchasing a complete lift kit. The two part numbers are for the exact same part. The FTS93010 is in it's own little box... the FT44016 was part of the now discontinued Fabtech 6" lift kit. If you look at the Fabtech installation instructions you'll see FT44016... if you call Fabtech and ask to purchase an FT44016 they will tell you to purchase the retail # FTS93010.

Even more information...

No, you cannot use a factory Ram outer tie rod. The Fabtech is shorter. No, you can't cut the threads down on your inner and try to use a factory outer because the taper in the Fabtech knuckles are DIFFERENT than the factory Ram knuckles. Fabtech makes this outer tie rod end specifically for their knuckles. There is no dealer or parts store solution to this but you're welcome to spend a few hours (or days) trying to find an alternative. In 20+ years of looking nobody has yet.
