Fabtech 2003-2008 Hummer H2 6" Lift Coil Spring Rear # K5000

Fabtech Motorsports Hummer H2 6" Lift # K5000 is designed for use on 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 model year HUMMER H2 vehicles factory equipped with the metal Coil Spring rear suspension. This kit is not designed for Air Ride models. To properly address the H2's fulltime transfer case Fabtech also includes a replacement CV style front driveshaft that ensures proper driveline operation. Also unique to this particular Fabtech suspension lift is the use of two 1/4" thick steel skid plates, one for the front differential and one for the transfer case. Rear lift on coil spring models receive replacement coil springs that are driver and passenger side specific. Make sure that you are purchasing the correct kit for your H2. There are two different rear suspension designs used on the H2, coil spring and air bag, this is the COIL SPRING system.

This lift system includes extended length front and rear Fabtech Performance Series shock absorbers.Fabtech Performance Shocks have been designed to work in conjunction with this suspension lift system and help to provide a superior ride control over generic fitment shocks. Fabtech Performance Series shocks features include high velocity 9-stage valving for excellent dampening capabilities and a closed cell insert to reduce shock fade at high speeds. A twin tube shock absorber consists of a thin wall inner pressure tube and outer reserve tube. The inner tube houses the valving components, piston and base valve and is where the damping forces are generated. The outer tube acts as a reservoir for displaced fluid from the shaft volume during the compression stroke. Also contained in the outer tube is a foam sleeve or gas bag that contracts and expands with respect to shaft displacement to eliminate air pockets and increase the performance of the shock.
