Fabtech 2015 - 2018 Tahoe & Suburban 1500 4" Basic Lift # K1081

Fabtech 4" Basic Lift # K1081 is designed to fit 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 model year Chevrolet Tahoe and Yukon 2wd and 4x4 vehicles. It will also fit Suburban 1500 4x4 and GMC Yukon XL 1500 4x4 vehicles. This lift is NOT designed for use on Suburban or Yukon XL 2wd vehicles. Please note this lift will only fit vehicles built on the 6-lug 1500 series chassis. Will NOT fit AWD models!

AutoRide & MagneRide Information:
This Fabtech K1081 4" Basic Lift provides lift through the use of front and rear spacers that allow you to retain the factory front and rear shock absorbers. Doing this allows AutoRide and MagneRide owners to install this lift without triggering trouble codes. We highly recommend that MagneRide owners have the system re-calibrated after the ride height has been increased. Most dealerships can perform this for you.

Performance Lifts Thoughts on This Kit...
This lift is not perfect. It's advertised as a 4" lift but most customers achieve closer to 3.5" inches of front lift. The kit will provide enough lift to clear a 33x11.50 tire on aftermarket wheels. Your vehicle might not sit level after the lift is installed. Normally with this lift the back ends up higher than the front. Fabtech says they do this because SUV's will frequently haul people (or gear) in the back and by keeping the rear higher when unloaded it will level out when the additional weight is being carried. If you want a perfectly level stance when your vehicle is not loaded this might not be the best lift for you. It's a budget spacer style lift so don't set your expectations too high and you'll probably be happy. Installation does not require relocation of the Rack and Pinion or dis-assembly of the front strut assemblies which makes installation a little easier.  There are no brake line, exhaust system, welding or driveline modifications required for installation. You will however have to cut, grind and drill holes to install this lift. The differential has pieces cut off, the frame has pieces cut off, the spindles require a 1/2" drill to be chased through the taper hole and installation of the skid plate requires drilling holes in the frame. If you don't want to cut / grind / drill anything on your vehicle this lift isn't for you.

This system passes FMVSS 126 standards for stability control functionality as tested by an independent lab.
