Fabtech Motorsports Performance Series Shock Absorber # FTS7181. Fabtech Performance Shocks have been designed to work in conjunction with Fabtech Suspension Lift Systems, resulting in superior ride control. Features include high velocity 9-stage valving for excellent dampening capabilities and a closed cell insert to reduce shock fade at high speeds. Each Fabtech shock features Twin Tube Hydraulic Construction, a 9/16” Hardened Chrome Piston Rod, 1 3/8” OD Piston, Closed Cell Foam insert, High Flow 9 Stage Valving, and Polyurethane Bushings. The Fabtech Performance Series # FTS7181 shock absorber is most often installed on the rear of a lifted vehicle. It may be possible to install this shock on a wide range of vehicles but is most often installed on a 2005 - 2022 Toyota Tacoma equipped with a 3" to 4" rear lift height. This is the same shock included with the Fabtech 6" Basic Suspension Lift System.
