Fabtech Drop Pitman Arm 2008.5 - 2022 Ram 2500 & 3500 4x4 # FTS93012

This Fabtech Motorsports Drop Pitman Arm # FTS93012 is designed for use on late 2008.5 - 2022 model year Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 and Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 trucks equipped with a 4" to 6" suspension lift. If your truck is equipped with a Fabtech 5" or 6" Suspension Lift this Drop Pitman Arm is necessary to help correct the steering geometry. Fabtech manufactures their Pitman Arm to be stronger then stock units, using the latest forging and CNC machining technology.

Important Installation Information

The FTS93012 is the boxed "Retail" version of the FT44172 included in Fabtech lift kits. Not for use on early 2008 or previous model year trucks. 2008.5 is when Dodge updated the sector shaft size from 1.25" to 1.50" and that's why OLD trucks cannot use this NEW style Pitman Arm unless you have updated the steering box. If you have an OLD truck with the NEW steering box (larger 1.50" sector shaft) this pitman arm should work. This item is sold without hardware. Fabtech expects you to reuse your factory lock washer and retaining nut hardware. If your existing hardware is damaged or corroded it SHOULD NOT be reused. The retaining nut for this Pitman Arm requires a torque specification of 220 ft/lbs. Failure to properly achieve the recommended torque specification can result in a loss of vehicle control and can lead to injury or death. Damage caused by improper installation is not covered by the Fabtech Warranty!
