PTFE Liners:
This F.K. Bearing includes a self-lubricating PTFE liner. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race. The liner offers a very high load carrying capacity and has greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics. The operating temperatures for the PTFE used in the FK Bearings range from -65* to 325* F. The Teflon liner provides for a much longer time in use than non-lined Uni-Balls. For street vehicle use we highly recommend the Teflon lined Uni-Ball vs. the less expensive non-lined options.
