FOX 2014 - 2023 Ram 2500 Performance Elite 2.5 Reservoir Front Shocks # 883-26-063

FOX Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir Front Shocks # 883-26-063 are designed to fit 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 model year Ram 2500 4x4 trucks. This front shock length is best matched to trucks equipped with 2" to 3.5" of front suspension lift. If you have a shorter or taller lift installed on your Ram 2500 4x4 we'd recommend selecting the correct FOX shock that is better matched to your trucks lift height.

DSC - Dual Speed Compression Adjuster
During compression, as the shock shaft pushes the main piston assembly through the shock body, oil flowing through the ports and compression valve stack is controlled. But not all of the oil flows through the main piston assembly during compression. Some of that oil is displaced by the shock shaft’s volume entering the shock body. This displaced oil flow is not controlled by the main piston assembly. To control the displaced oil flow, FOX base valves are used to meter the flow between the shock body and the reservoir. On this shock you can control the High Speed and Low Speed Compression via the included "clicker" adjuster knobs. When you decrease compression damping by turning the adjustment knob counter-clockwise, you allow the shock to compress faster. It feels softer and more supple. When you increase compression damping by turning the adjustment knob clockwise, you make the shock compress slower. It feels stiffer and more supportive. The Low Speed Compression adjuster gives you additional control over how your Ram handles during acceleration, braking, and cornering. The High Speed Compression provides the versatility required to float over rough terrain without feeling disconnected and improve on-road manners while you remain comfortable and in control.

The aluminum bodied Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir smooth body shock delivers FOX's industry leading and race dominating performance in a hassle-free bolt on package. Its heat reducing design includes a metal impacted clear anodized aluminum shock body that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel body shock. The external reservoir allows for increased oil and nitrogen capacity while delivering a striking race look. The included Black Anodized reservoir mounting clamp and other components are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The race developed high flow damping piston matched with application specific valving provides the Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir shock a predictable ride quality capable of handling the roughest road conditions.
