FOX Racing 2009-2013 Ford F150 4x4 Coilover # 985-02-006

FOX Racing Coilover # 985-02-006 fits 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 model year F150 4x4 Trucks. Keeping the lift height to 2" inches or under delivers the best ride and handling. With the addition of an aftermarket upper control arm this coilover can provide in excess of 2" inches of lift while still providing good on and off-road ride and handling. Please note that this coilover will NOT fit the SVT Raptor F150 or any 2wd models. 2.5 features an Aluminum body that disipates heat three times faster than steel. The end caps and mounts are Black anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The shock shaft is 5/8" heat treated alloy steel that is hard chrome plated. The piston design was developed by Fox through years of Racing experience and the valving is vehicle and application specific to maximize on and off-road performance. Fox Racing Shox hold up to daily driver use because of a unique redundant sealing pack system that features the main seal, a wiper seal, and a scraper seal. And because Fox knows their coilovers are used all over the world they use a specially formulated shock oil that is designed to provide consistent performance at variable temperatures, Alaska Winters to Arizona Summers, these shocks can handle both extreme cold and extreme heat. The Internal reservoir design separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen without the need for a remotely mounted reservoir.

Fox pre-adjusts this coilover to provide enough lift to achieve a level ride height on most F150's. This is a fully adjustable coilover that can be adjusted to provide more or less lift. Please note that as you increase the ride height through additional spring pre-load you will notice a reduction in ride quality. If you want to achieve more than 2" inches of lift the installation of an aftermarket upper control arm designed to provide an increase in suspension travel can help you gain up to 3" inches of lift and still maintain a good ride. If you are not going to install an aftermarket upper arm we recommend keeping the lift height to 2" inches or less. More is possible but the ride quality will suffer as you go taller!

These Fox 985-02-006 coilovers are sold as a pair. The price listed includes 1 pair of Fox 985-02-006 coilovers. We also offer Fox rear shock absorbers for use with the 2009 - 2013 F150 4x4 trucks.
