Fox Racing 2.0 Shock Absorber 14" Travel w/Reservoir # 980-24-035

FOX Factory Series 2.0 Reservoir Shock # 980-24-035. This FOX shock includes a hose mounted reservoir to allow for extended off-road use with less fading. A shock absorber that builds up too much heat will not function properly. As the shock absorber is exposed to excessive heat it will fade and/or fail. If you are experiencing excessive shock failure or fading, it may be time to step up to the performance of a FOX 2.0 Factory Series remote reservoir shock absorber.

Increased Oil Capacity:
The more oil, the better. Higher oil volumes take longer to heat. Another method of increasing oil capacity is to utilize a remote reservoir or use a larger diameter shock. The additional volume of the reservoir allows the Fox 2.0 shock to maintain a lower and more even operating temperature which allows them to survive under conditions that blow other shocks apart!

Please note that this shock is sold individually. This Fox 14" Travel Shock is equipped with a remote reservoir. The shock measures 35.120" Extended and 21.120" Compressed. This FOX 2.0 Reservoir Shock includes a pair of rubber isolators and hose clamps to secure the reservoir to the shock body.
