FOX Racing Factory Series 2.0 Shock - 12" Travel w/Reservoir # 980-02-034

This FOX Racing Shock Part # 980-02-034 features a hose mounted reservoir that is designed to allow for extended off-road use without fading. A shock absorber that builds up too much heat will not function properly. As the shock absorber is exposed to excessive heat it will fade and/or fail. If you are experiencing excessive shock failure or fading, it may be time to step up to the performance of a FOX 2.0 series shock absorber, or possibly add another shock or a larger body equipped shock.

FOX # 980-02-034 Oil Capacity:

The more shock oil, the better! A higher volume of oil will take longer to heat. The lower and more consistent you can keep the temperature of the shock fluid the better. This FOX features an external "Remote Reservoir" design that provides an additional volume of oil. Combined with the additional surface area of the reservoir body, this allows the Fox 2.0 shock to maintain a lower and more even operating temperature which allows them to survive under conditions that blow other shocks apart!

This Fox 980-02-034 12" travel shock is equipped with a remote reservoir. The shock measures 31" extended and 19.1" fully compressed. All FOX 2.0 reservoir shocks include a rubber isolator and hose clamp to secure the reservoir.
