The 2.0 Performance Series IFP smooth body shocks contain the latest in shock technology to transform the performance of your Truck or SUV. They use race-proven damping control to provide a comfortable on-road ride and predictable offroad handling in even the toughest conditions. The precision metal impact aluminum body increases cooling capacity and will never rust. Inside you will find Fox Racign Shoxk race-proven performance valving technology. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. The IFP eliminates oil aeration and provides maximum performance from the factory-tuned precision valving. The race developed high flow damping piston matched with vehicle specific vavling provides the 2.0 Performance Series IFP shock a predicable ride quality capable of handling the roughest road conditions.

FOX Racing 2.0 Performance Series IFP # 985-24-043 is designed for use on the rear of most Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 series trucks built between 1999 and 2015. Please note that this shock is basically a stock length replacement. If you have installed a rear suspension lift that is taller than 1" over stock height this shock may be too short. If you are looking for a high performance stock length replacement shock this Fox IFP Series Shock Absorber is a great choice. If you are looking for a longer than stock shock you may want need a different FOX part number.
