Fox Racing Shock 20" Reservoir Hose # 023-05-038-A

This FOX Racing Shox 20" Reservoir Hose # 023-05-038-A is a quick fix for a leaking reservoir shock that has experienced an O-ring, fitting or hose failure. This item is sold individually and includes new O-rings at each end. This hose is a -5 (aka Dash 5) and is ONLY for use on Fox 2.0 Shocks equipped with a 5/8" diameter shock shaft. If you have a larger shock shaft (7/8" or larger) you will require a larger diameter hose. The hose size is critical as too small of a hose will restrict oil flow and cause performance problems.

Important Notes:
Replacement of the reservoir hose itself is very easy and can be performed with basic hand tools. Please note that if the shock has been leaking fluid it is critical that the shock is disassembled and the fluid level is checked. The shock must be accurately filled to FOX specifications. Once the shock fluid level has been corrected it will also be necessary to charge the shock with Nitrogen before it is put back into service. Failure to properly charge the shock with the correct pressure will cause poor performance and possible damage to the shock internals.
