This FOX Racing Shox Part # 883-26-079 is designed for use on the new 2019+ Ram 1500 2wd and 4x4 trucks equipped with up to 2" inches of rear suspension lift. FOX has put over 25 years of on and off-road racing and shock building experience into these shocks and it shows. The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series Shocks deliver superior performance in a hassle free bolt-on package. The FOX reservoir equipped shocks feature a heat-reducing shock body made from metal-impacted aluminum that dissipates heat faster than conventional steel. Specially formulated shock oil and a high-pressure nitrogen gas charge help provide a predictable ride quality capable of handling the roughest road conditions. These new shock technologies provide a winning combination.

FOX Racing Shox # 883-26-079 is part of the Performance Elite Series 2.5 Reservoir / Adjustable line of shocks. FOX builds this shock as a direct fit bolt-on shock for 2019 and newer Gen 5 Ram 1500 2wd and 4x4 trucks equipped with up to 2" inches of rear suspension lift. If your Ram has more than 2" inches of rear suspension lift this shock may limit your rebound travel and we would recommended a longer shock. This shock will NOT fit the older Gen 4 2009-2018 Ram 1500 "DS" series trucks. The 2019+ Ram rear shock upper mount is now a Stem (or stud if you prefer) which makes this shock only for use on the new "DT" series trucks.

DSC - Dual Speed Compression
This FOX 883-26-079 shock is equipped with an external reservoir that features FOX DSC - Dual Speed Compression. It measures 25.630" extended and 16.840" compressed. This particular FOX shock has the lower bushings and sleeves preinstalled. The sleeve is designed to allow you to reuse the factory 14mm diameter bolts and hardware. The upper stem style mount includes new bushings, washers and the upper lock nut.
