FOX 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Performance Series 2.0 IFP Rear Shock # 985-24-196
This FOX Racing Shox Part # 985-24-196 is designed for use on Toyota Tacoma 6-lug 2wd and 4x4 trucks equipped with a 4" to 6" rear suspension lift. FOX has put over 25 years of on and off-road racing and shock building experience into these shocks and it shows. The 2.0 Performance Series Shocks deliver superior performance in a hassle free bolt-on package. The Fox IFP design features a heat-reducing shock body made from metal-impacted aluminum that dissipates heat faster than conventional steel. Inside the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates specially formulated shock oil from a high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber that provides a predictable ride quality capable of handling the roughest road conditions. These new shock technologies provide a competitive price and a winning combination.

FOX Racing Shox # 985-24-196 is part of the Performance Series 2.0 IFP Smooth Body line of shocks. FOX builds this shock as a direct fit bolt-on shock for 2005 - 2020 Toyota Tacoma 6-lug 2wd and 4x4 trucks equipped with 4" to 6" inches of rear suspension lift. If your Tacoma has less than 4" inches of rear suspension lift a shorter length shock is recommended.

This Fox 985-24-196 IFP Series shock is equipped with an internal reservoir. It measures 27.250" extended and 16.650" compressed. This particular FOX shock has the lower bushings and sleeves preinstalled. The sleeve is designed to allow you to reuse the factory bolts and hardware. The upper stem style mount includes new bushings, washers and the upper lock nut.
Because customers have asked for it we now sell this shock individually. You'll need to adjust your order quantity to 2 if you want to buy a pair of shocks.
