ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2007 - 2021 Toyota Tundra EXP Front Shock # 58655. This ICON shock is sold individually which means you need to add 2 of them to your cart. ICON has specifically developed the EXP Series as a less expensive shock package. It will fit 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 model year 2wd and 4x4 Toyota Tundra fullsize pickup trucks. Not for use on TRD PRO package equipped models.

EXP Series is based on ICON’s proven 2.5-inch diameter Aluminum Series shock absorber, featuring a one-piece impact-extruded aluminum shock body. Hard anodizing provides a great-looking, consistent finish with superior resistance to abrasion and corrosion. The massive 7/8-inch diameter shaft is induction hardened and chrome plated. EXP shocks use the factory shaft-up orientation. The 6061-billet aluminum coil spring seat is CNC machined to fit the Tundra’s OE coil springs. A series of snap-ring grooves machined into the shock body provide easily-selectable front suspension ride height adjustment from 0" to 2.25” of lift over stock.

EXP Series shocks utilize a one-piece digressive piston design and are custom tuned for the Tundra and are only for use with stock Toyota front coil springs. ICON has optimized the damping performance and using a factory Toyota spring helps provide unsurpassed ride quality, on and off-road. The increased piston size and shock oil volume provided by the 2.5-inch diameter aluminum body also provides superior heat dissipation compared to the smaller, steel bodied OE shocks, resulting in longer-lasting shock performance over prolonged use at higher speeds and through rougher terrain. For those who would like to further tune their suspension, EXP shocks are fully re-valvable (and rebuildable) by any qualified shock technician, with parts available from ICON./

Recommended tire size is a 34" diameter tire with 5" back spacing. If you want to run 35" tires the "Body Mount Mod" may be required to prevent tire contact at full compression. Please note that other wheel sizes and tire sizes can be used, this is only a brief tire and wheel recommendation. This shock will fit all Standard Cab, Double Cab, and Crew Max Tundra models. Not for use on TRD PRO Edition trucks.

The EXP 2.5 Series front shock is NOT a threaded body coilover. Adjusting the lift height on the ICON 2.5 EXP front shocks will require the use of a spring compressor. You must transfer your factory Toyota coil spring over to the ICON shock body. ICON does not recommend the use of aftermarket "lift springs" with their EXP 2.5 series shock absorbers.
