ICON Vehicle Dynamics 6-8" Lift Stage 3 Suspension System # K78203. Fits 2011 - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD / 3500 series trucks. ICON spent over year developing and testing this suspension system to ensure it performs with great on and off road handling and drivability. Included in this lift kit are components and features such as a heavy duty boxed sub-frame with integrated differential and transmission skid plates, precision CNC machined cast iron steering knuckles, rear lift blocks with built in bump stops, and the best part is all of this is 100% Made in the USA! The ICON 78203 Stage 3 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD / 3500 suspension lift is ICON's most advanced 2.5" body diameter shock equipped suspension system. This lift comes complete with Icon's 2.5 PiggyBack Reservoir Extended Travel Front Shock Absorbers, which is a massive shock upgrade to the 2.0 series shocks included with the Stage 1 system. The ICON 2.5" PiggyBack Front and Rear shocks are designed and built specifically for this application. While some lift manufacturers include "generic shocks for use with their kits, ICON builds their shocks in-house and makes sure they provide the best ride possible from a 2.5" diameter shock absorber. The ICON Stage 3 system includes the ICON UniBall Upper Control Arm, the Stage 2 system does not. The major advantage to the Stage 3 system is the front wheel travel increase that is possible through the use of the Extended Travel PiggyBack shock and UniBall equipped upper control arm. Tech Info:
A replacement front drive shaft & shift linkage brackets are recommended for 4x4 models that will be operated at highway speeds of 15 mph or more. The factory front drive shaft joints can bind at the increased operating angle created when the lift is installed. This can lead to a front drive shaft vibration. The OEM factory wheels and tires can be used with this lift. If running a larger than factory size tire the wheel back space should not exceed 5.5" inches. This means aftermarket wheels will in most cases be required. This is to ensure that sufficient clearance is available between the tire, wheel, and suspension components. When running 17" or 18" wheels you can have up to 5.50" inches of back space. When running a 20" or larger wheel up to 5.75" inches of back space can be used. This lift is adjustable between 5" and 8" inches of lift. Because the lift can be adjusted this system can be used with a wide range of tire sizes. The most common tire size customers want to run is a 35" x 12.50" or similar. When running a 35" tire the lift should be set to approximately 6" inches. This lift has the ability to clear up to a 37" tire when adjusted to the full 8" inches. Please note, when running 37" tires some trimming will be required.
