ICON designed their Ford F150 Stage 5 System # 93095 with the serious F150 owner in mind. The ICON External Reservoir Coilovers and Rear 2.5 Series PiggyBack Reservoir shocks both feature the ICON CDC Technology. This suspension package provides a wide range of lift height options. If you want to maintain the stock ride height and gain the benefit of a significantly better front coilover and rear shock you can. If you want to raise the front suspension ride height up to 3" inches over stock height you can do that too! And because the ICON coilover is ride height adjustable you can fine tune the lift height increase to any setting between 1.75" and 3" inches. ICON Vehicle Dynamics F-150 Stage 5 Suspension Systems are designed with maximum performance and the serious driver in mind. This Stage 5 system includes a set of ICON # 91816C External Reservoir CDC Equipped 1.75-3" Lift Coilovers that feature a race inspired 2.5" shock body that features high quality coil spring and arrives completely pre-assembled. This coilover works great on and off the road increasing performance and ride quality. And as always, this ICON replacement coilover set provides the performance you have come to expect from ICON Vehicle Dynamics products. By increasing the ride height of your 2015 or newer Ford F150 you can provide clearance for larger tires and achieve increased ground clearance. Most F150 owners are running a 33" tire on an aftermarket 17" or larger diameter wheel with no more than 5" inches of back space. Please also note that when running aftermarket wheels and larger tires some trimming may be required to prevent rubbing. After you've installed your larger tires and it's time to hit the dirt you'll be surprised at how much of a ride quality and handling improvement the ICON coilovers and rear shock absorbers provide. Once you get back on the pavement you'll appreciate how the ICON Stage 5 System gives your F-150 a great custom look too.
These vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” body reservoir coilover shocks feature an external reservoir for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the entire range of suspension travel. These coilovers are also height adjustable from 1.75-3” allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The ICON # 91816C coilovers are an excellent choice for those drivers looking to enhance the capabilities of their pickup on the road as well as in the dirt. Please note: Use of a tire and wheel combination not specifically recommended by ICON may allow the tire to hit the shock reservoir when turning sharply and should not be used.
