ICON 2017+ Ford Raptor 3.0 Front Coil Over Shock System # 95002

The engineers at ICON Vehicle Dynamics took a different approach to achieving true position sensitive capabilities and performance with their 3.0 Coilover Shocks. Instead of bypassing a small internal piston at the cost of poor control, road holding, and cornering like a traditional internal position sensitive shock, ICON starts with a true 3" main piston that has robust features such as digressive rebound and flutter stack compression. This combination produces outstanding control, great response, and unparalleled ride performance. To achieve even more control during extreme off-road use, ICON has added an additional internal hydraulic system that acts much like an external mounted hydraulic bumpstop would. This design allows the shock to greatly reduce the compression speed of the suspension during the last 40% of travel to achieve maximum bottom out control. These multiple stages of compression and rebound control have been tuned independently to maximize overall performance of the Ford SVT Raptor front suspension. For owners who wish to optimize the ride specific to his or her liking, the ICON 3.0 Front Coil-Over Shocks are also equipped with an external, "Easy to Adjust" Compression Damping Control Valve, that is effective for the entire stroke of the shock. This compression adjustment valve offers you 10 high resolution settings that provide a noticeably different feel in the suspension... from soft to firm. It is so easy to adjust that you can set the shock to one of the "softer" settings for the daily commute and then to "firm" for the high-speed off-road runs on the weekend.

Please note that when running 37" tires rubbing may occur during off-road driving. Even with the ICON 3.0 Coilover set to provide 3" of lift a 37" tire may rub when the suspension is completely compressed.

Important Fitment Note:
2019 AND NEWER RAPTOR VEHICLES WITH FACTORY LIVE VALVE SHOCKS WILL NEED TO PURCHASE ICON DAMPER INTERFACE DEVICE (PN: 95199) TO ALLOW THE VEHICLE DRIVE MODES TO OPERATE CORRECTLY WITH THE OE SHOCKS REMOVED. THIS ITEM IS NOT INCLUDED BUT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
