ICON 2021 - 2024 GM SUV 3" Lift - Tubular UCA Stage 2 # K73102T. ICON Vehicle Dynamics 2.5" coilover shocks are an incredible upgrade for the front and rear suspension on the 2021-2024 Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban/2021-2024 GMC Yukon & Yukon XL SUVs. Their longer lengths offer an increase in total front and rear wheel travel compared to stock, improving suspension performance and ride quality. ICON’s Vehicle-specific valving provides a sport tuned feel on and off-road. The additional suspension height allows the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. The larger 2.5" diameter shock body and increased piston area over stock components provides improved damping ability and outstanding ride characteristics across varying types of terrain. This Stage 1 systems pairs the ICON front and rear 2.5 Series coilover shocks to provide balanced suspension performance front to rear, resulting in the best overall driving experience for your GM SUV.

This system features Tubular Steel upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

K73102T Lift Height Increase:

This ICON coilover suspension system is adjustable and the lift height the coilovers provide out of the box will be different depending on the weight of the vehicle. Most SUV submodels equipped with gasoline engines will achieve a front lift height between 2.5" and 3.25" inches over stock. Most SUV submodels equipped with the heavier diesel engines will achieve less lift height and the increase will be approximately 2" to 2.75" inches over stock. Most Tahoe/Yukon submodels will have gain a rear lift height in the range of 3" to 4" over stock and most Suburban/Yukon XL submodels will gain closer to 2.5" to 3.5" over stock. Keep in mind these values are approximate. In general the HEAVIER the vehicle the less lift the system will provide. If you've equipped your GM SUV with a ton of overlanding gear (and weight) the lift heights will be less than advertised.

Adaptive Air Ride & Magnetic Ride Control Compatibility Information:

Yes, this ICON suspension system can be installed on GM vehicles factory equipped with Adaptive Air Ride Suspension or Magnetic Ride Control (electronically controlled shocks). ICON Vehicle Dynamics offers both a Ride Height Simulator Kit # 71022 for Air Ride vehicles and an Electronic Shock Simulator # 71021 for Magnetic Ride Control equipped models that allows for the installation of ICON coilovers on 2021 - 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL vehicles. This allows you to achieve an increase in ride height and improved suspension performance. These electronic simulators send the return signal to the vehicles computer, making it think the OE shocks are still installed, and allow full systems functionality without error codes or warning lights on the dash. These kits are purchased separately and easily install into the vehicle’s OE wiring harnesses in a simple, plug and play manner.
