ICON Delta Joint Installation Press Adapter # 614519

ICON Delta Joint Install Press Adapter Tube # 614519. If you are upgrading to or replacing an existing ICON Delta Joint this 614519 tool makes that process much easier. It should work with almost all ICON upper control arms currently equipped with UniBalls as well as other applicable manufacturer's UCA's if you are retrofitting a Delta Joint into a non-ICON upper arm. Use of the correct tools reduces the chance of damage to the Delta Joint and makes pressing the joint into the control arm less frustrating. It can be used with a press, 8" or larger jaw vice or an 8" or larger opening C-clamp.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFO:

If using a C-Clamp to perform the press work you will need an 8" or larger Ball Joint style C-clamp (or comparable tool) in order to use this adapter tube. If your C-clamp has a smaller than 8" opening you simply won't be able to use this tool. If your are replacing an ICON Delta Joint into an ICON Billet Aluminum upper control arm with an angled bearing bore you will also need to purchase ICON Part # 614520 which includes the necessary tapered shim to ensure the force is applied in the correct direction.
