ICON Delta Joint Installation Press Adapter & Tapered Shim # 614520

ICON Delta Joint Install Press Adapter Tube and Tapered Shim # 614520. If you need to install an ICON Delta Joint into your ICON Billet Aluminum Upper Control Arm this ICON # 614520 tool makes that process much easier. This item includes the Tapered Shim that ICON Billet Upper Control Arms require. Use of the correct tools reduces the chance of damage to the Delta Joint and makes pressing the joint into the control arm less frustrating. It can be used with a press, 8" or larger jaw vice or an 8" or larger opening C-clamp.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFO:
If using a C Clamp to perform the press work you will need an 8" or larger Ball Joint style C-clamp (or comparable tool) in order to use this adapter tube. If your C-clamp has a smaller than 8" opening you simply won't be able to use this tool. If your are replacing an ICON Delta Joint on an ICON Billet Aluminum upper control arm with an angled bearing bore you must use the included Tapered Shim to ensure the force is applied in the correct direction.
