ICON Silverado CST 4" Lift Coilover # 71501

The ICON 71501 Adjustable Lift Height Coilover is designed for use on all 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 series trucks equipped with a CST 4" Subframe style Suspension Lift. The spring rate on the ICON coilover is 700 in/lbs which is slightly higher than the factory spring. The higher spring rate provides a more performance oriented feel and better handling both on and off-road. It is not a stiff or uncomfortable ride, but it does provide a sportier ride than the stock shock and spring assembly. The Icon 71501 Coilover features a 2.50" diameter shock body that helps improves suspension dampening and handling while enhancing the vehicle performance on and off the road. This is a race quality shock absorber designed to provide superior performance on the street and still provide good off-road performance.

This coilover system is a 100% bolt-on lift. Simply remove the CST Spacer and Front shock and spring assembly and replace it with the Icon 71501 coilover. This product can be installed by most customers in under an hour using basic hand tools. A front end alignment will be required if you adjust the coilovers to provide lift. Please note, these Icon 71501 coilovers are NOT intended for use on any model equipped with GM's Autoride System (air suspension)! ICON Vehicle Dynamics also offers a set of matched extended length rear shock absorbers. The ICON rear shocks will work on Silverado and Sierra trucks that have been lifted 2" to 3" over stock height. ICON Rear Shock Absorbers are available for purchase separate from the coilover using the selection box located above this item description.
