ICON 2007 - 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser Rear Hydraulic Bump Stop Kit # 56104. The factory Toyota bumpstops are made of rubber and have a very limited amount of energy they can absorb when the suspension reaches maximum compression. This works fine for street use but when the FJ Cruiser is driven aggressively off-road the factory bumpstops just don't cut it. The factory bumpstop does not properly control the last few inches of compression travel which results in a harsh ride. The ICON Hydraulic Bump Stops are velocity sensitive. This means that the faster the bumpstop is compressed the more resistance to compression it provides. An FJ Cruiser equipped with the ICON Hydraulic Rear Bump Stop Kit will have increased bottom-out resistance over the stock system and better performance on and off-road. Installation of this kit is pretty easy. It installs inside of the rear coil spring for a clean and uncluttlered appearance and protection from obstacles encountered off-road.
