This Daylighter includes the patented KC rubber shock mounting system. The KC HiLiTES shock mounting system was developed as a way to isolate the lamp unit from the mounting bracket or surface to which the light is mounted. The shock mount system has been updated from the original design and requires no extra drilling to install. The vibration dampening Daylighter housing also proves useful for agricultural and commercial applications where durability is a key factor.
